With Special Guests
Contemporary folk musician Rachel Sermanni started her journey in music performing and listening to traditional Scottish music whilst in school, leading her to discover more contemporary influences such as Bob Dylan, Eva Cassidy and Van Morrisson. From there she began to play at traditional music nights in and around Glasgow, leading to her supporting the likes of Mumford & Sons and Fink on tour and eventually landing a record deal with the prestigious Rough Trade Records. Her magical combination of the conventional and the contemporary is spellbinding and certainly something worth seeing when Sermanni visits the capitol for a performance on the Southbank.
